Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez scored four goals on his return for the club in a friendly match on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old has not played since the start of the season after suffering an ankle injury, but he featured for 90 minutes in Bayern's 6-0 win over fifth-tier side Falke Markt.

"I've not been away for six years. We shouldn't read too much into this. They weren't the toughest opponents," the striker told the club's official website.

Bayern currently top the Bundesliga with 30 points.
