Bayern Munich confirm Robert Lewandowski concussion

Bayern Munich confirm that Robert Lewandowski suffered multiple injuries, including concussion, during the team's loss to Borussia Dortmund in the DFB-Pokal semi-finals.

Bayern Munich have confirmed that Robert Lewandowski suffered a broken jaw, broken nose and concussion during last night's defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the DFB-Pokal semi-finals.

The striker sustained the injuries after colliding with Dortmund goalkeeper Mitchell Langerak at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern eventually lost on penalties after the teams played out a 1-1 draw over 120 minutes.

Lewandowski is almost certain to miss his side's Champions League semi-final first leg against Barcelona at Camp Nou on May 6.

Bayern Munich return to action on Saturday when they will travel to Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
