Half-Time Report: No goals for Juventus, Bayern Munich

Juventus and Bayern Munich fail to score in the first half of their Champions League quarter-final second leg at the Juventus Stadium.

Juventus and Bayern Munich have both failed to find the net in the first half of their Champions League quarter-final second leg at the Juventus Stadium.

Bayern will book their place in the semi-finals if the score remains as it is thanks to their 2-0 victory at the Allianz Arena last week.

There was little to separate the two sides during the opening stages, but Munich came close nine minutes in when Mario Mandzukic poked wide having been put off by Andrea Barzagli.

The hosts nearly went ahead midway through the half when Andrea Pirlo's whipped free kick was kept out by Manuel Neuer.

Paul Pogba fluffed his lines 36 minutes in after good work from Mirko Vucinic before Gianluigi Buffon saved David Alaba's fierce shot late on.
