Another comfortable win in Europe in midweek has continued the hosts' phenomenal start under Xabi Alonso.

Leverkusen have already beaten RB Leipzig and Borussia Monchengladbach, as well as holding Bayern to a draw at the Allianz, so another three points will be the order of the day here against newly-promoted opposition.

Heidenheim have scored eight in their last three games though, including two away at Dortmund, so Leverkusen can not take them lightly.

Frankfurt vs. Freiburg (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Two of Thursday night's European competitors meet at Deutsche Bank Park in the Bundesliga on Sunday, when Eintracht Frankfurt host Freiburg.

Both clubs won on the continent but enter the weekend in ninth and 10th, level on points in mid-table.

We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 1-1 Freiburg

Frankfurt have been draw specialists so far this season, recording four 1-1 draws already in all competitions, and even though Freiburg are yet to draw this season, a close encounter is in store.

Despite low-scoring starts for the two sides, both teams have scored in the last seven meetings here in Frankfurt - resulting in 25 goals.
