Preview: Barnsley vs. Derby County

Barnsley host Derby County on Sunday in the Championship, looking to get themselves off the bottom of the table.

The Championship's basement side Barnsley take on one of Europe's in-form teams Derby County on Sunday as they look to close the gap to 21st-placed Doncaster Rovers.

Barnsley's only win since mid-October was their victory at Brighton & Hove Albion at the start of the month, but since then they have lost two and only scored once in their last four.

Derby's seven-game winning run was halted at Huddersfield Town on Boxing Day as they had to settle for a late draw, but they have moved up to fourth with their fine form.

Danny Wilson could restore Jacob Mellis to his lineup with his return from suspension and Paddy McCourt, who scored in the Brighton win, could start after coming off the bench on Boxing Day.

Will Hughes and Jeff Hendrick could be fit to play for Steve McClaren's Derby, although he may not make many if any changes to his in-form side.
