Neymar 'open to new Paris Saint-Germain deal'

Neymar is reportedly open to signing a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain, provided the French club improve their fortunes in the Champions League.

Neymar is reportedly open to signing a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain, but his decision will depend on how the club fares in Europe this season.

The Brazilian international joined PSG in 2017 from Barcelona and has scored 64 goals in 73 appearances during his time in the French capital.

According to the Daily Mail, the 27-year-old is happy to end the speculation about his future and sign a new deal with the Paris club, although a decision will not be taken before April.

The report adds that Neymar wants to see his side challenge in Europe before he commits to a long-term contract.

During the summer, the former Santos forward was constantly linked with a return to Barcelona but is said to have had a change of heart, with his relationship with the PSG board improving.

However, the Ligue 1 champions have not got past the last 16 of the Champions League while Neymar has been at the club and he wants this to change.
