Barcelona and Atletico Madrid could reportedly battle for the signature of Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz during this summer's transfer window.
The 25-year-old was again in strong form for his Italian club during the 2020-21 campaign, making 42 appearances in all competitions, contributing four goals and one assist in the process.
Barcelona have long been linked with a move for the former Real Betis youngster, who is currently with the Spain squad preparing for Euro 2020.
According to AS, the Catalan giants could go head-to-head with Atletico for the midfielder's signature following the European Championship.
The report claims that Ruiz - also thought to be of interest to Paris Saint-Germain - is reluctant to sign a new deal in Naples, with his existing contract due to expire in June 2023.
Napoli, meanwhile, are said to be prepared to sell the Spaniard this summer providing that they receive an offer in the region of €60m (£51.5m).
