Barcelona lineup vs. Mallorca: Predicted XI for Hansi Flick's side in La Liga contest

Barcelona will have to work around the absence of leading goalscorer Robert Lewandowski for Tuesday's La Liga clash with Mallorca.

Lewandowski picked up a hamstring injury during Saturday's league game against Celta Vigo, and the Poland international is believed to be facing three weeks on the sidelines.

In his absence, Ferran Torres is set to feature through the middle against Mallorca, with Lamine Yamal returning to the starting side after being rested from the start against Celta, with the Catalan outfit coming from 3-1 behind to record a 4-3 win.

Alejandro Balde, Marc Casado, Marc Bernal and Marc-Andre ter Stegen remain on the sidelines, so five Barcelona players are out of action, but there is a slight chance that Balde will be back for next weekend's Copa del Rey final.

Head coach Hansi Flick could also make a defensive change for Tuesday's clash, with Ronald Araujo likely to be recalled.

Gavi is also in line to feature from the first whistle, but Flick is being cautious with Dani Olmo following his recent injury problems, so the Spain international is again likely to be used off the bench.

Gerard Martin is currently benefiting from Balde's absence, and the Spaniard is set for another start here, while Frenkie de Jong and Pedri should continue as the two midfielders.
