Mallorca vs. Barcelona: Predicted XI for the La Liga champions amid registration, injury issues

Registration, injury issues for the champions: How Barca could line up against Mallorca

Barcelona have still not managed to register a number of their first-team players ahead of Saturday's La Liga clash against Mallorca, but Joan Garcia and Marcus Rashford are available to play.

As it stands, Roony Bardghji, Gerard Martin, Marc Bernal and Wojciech Szczesny have not been registered, with Barcelona's financial issues still causing them a number of problems.

Garcia's registration had been the priority, and the goalkeeper is cleared to make his debut alongside Rashford, but the other players on that list will have to wait.

Barcelona will definitely be without the services of Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who has undergone a back operation, while Robert Lewandowski is missing due to a hamstring issue.

There are not expected to be any surprises at the back, as Inigo Martinez has left, so Ronald Araujo will feature alongside Pau Cubarsi in the middle of the defence.

Pedri and Frenkie de Jong are the first-choice pairing in the middle of midfield, while Lamine Yamal and Raphinha had outstanding 2024-25 campaigns and are certain to be in the XI.

Lewandowski's absence could open the door for Ferran Torres to play through the middle, although Rashford is also an option in that area of the field.

Meanwhile, Fermin Lopez was outstanding against Como last time out, and the Spain international could be given the nod in the number 10 spot for the league fixture with Mallorca.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Garcia; Kounde, Araujo, Cubarsi, Balde; Pedri, De Jong; Yamal, Fermin, Raphinha; Torres
