Luis Enrique: "We are in good shape"

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has claimed that his side "are in good shape" ahead of the start of the new La Liga season.

The Catalan outfit rounded off their pre-season with a 6-0 win over Club Leon in last night's Joan Gamper Trophy at the Camp Nou.

"We are in good shape as I expected and we will keep improving with matches and training," Enrique told the club's official website.

"In terms of football I would have preferred to have had two months more, but pre-seasons are what they are."

Barcelona face Elche in their league opener this weekend.
