Half-Time Report: Barcelona leading Levante

Barcelona lead Levante 2-1 at half time in tonight's Copa del Rey match at the Camp Nou, thanks to goals by Adriano and Carles Puyol.

Barcelona are currently leading Levante 2-1 at half time in tonight's Copa del Rey match at the Camp Nou.

With just nine minutes on the clock, Loukas Vyntra powered a header into the bottom corner of the Barca net, though the ball took a deflection off midfielder Sergi Roberto.

Ten minutes later, Roberto came close to pulling a goal back for the Blaugrana, but Javi Jimenez pushed his effort over the crossbar.

After a spell of possession, the home side eventually scored an equaliser, as Adriano collected a pass from Cesc Fabregas before rattling an effort into the bottom corner.

Levante were forced to make a change midway through the second half, Sergio Pinto leaving the field due to an injury.

Just as it seemed that both sides would be going in level at the break, Carles Puyol powered a header into the Levante net following a corner.
