Athletic Bilbao complete Raul Garcia signing

Athletic Bilbao have signed Basque midfielder Raul Garcia from Atletico Madrid on a long-term deal.

Earlier on Monday, Bilbao revealed that they had "reached an agreement in principle" for the transfer of the 29-year-old.

That move was also confirmed by Atletico boss Diego Simeone and via their official Twitter, Bilbao have confirmed that they have brought the Spaniard to San Mames.

Garcia started his professional career with Osasuna, before making the move to Atletico in 2007. His best scoring season for the capital outfit came in the 2013-14 campaign, when he netted 17 times in 53 appearances.
