UEFA has announced that Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has been handed a four-match suspension from the touchline.
During the early stages of the first leg of the Europa League semi-final with Arsenal, Simeone disputed the sending-off of defender Sime Vrsaljko and was promptly sent to the stands by the referee.
The incident led to the Argentine being banned from the dugout for the second leg in Madrid on Thursday night, but UEFA has revealed that the 48-year-old faces further punishment.
Simeone will be absent from the touchline for a further three matches, meaning that the former midfielder will not be present among his staff for the Europa League final with Marseille.
The charge will run over to next season where Simeone - who has also been fined $10,000 (£7,400) - will miss Atletico's opening two matches in the group stages of the Champions League.
