Aston Villa to announce Nicklas Helenius deal

Aston Villa are close to completing the signing of Danish striker Nicklas Helenius and could announce the deal soon.

The 22-year-old previously confirmed that he was in talks with the Midlands outfit and that he was excited at the prospect of moving to the Premier League.

Terms have now been agreed between Villa and Aalborg, and the forward is expected to undergo a medical on Tuesday, according to Sky Sports News.

It is thought that Paul Lambert's side will unveil their capture within the next 24 hours.

Villa have been one of the busiest teams so far during the current transfer window having already snapped up Jores Okore, Leandro Bacuna and Aleksandar Tonev.
