Report: David Moyes still keen on Aston Villa job

Former Manchester United manager David Moyes reportedly wants the Aston Villa job even if it means working in the Championship.

Former Manchester United and Everton manager David Moyes has reportedly not been deterred from taking over at Aston Villa despite the club's Premier League plight.

Villa, who have never been relegated in the Premier League era, are 12 points from safety and almost confirmed as down with just seven matches of the season remaining.

Remi Garde is the man currently in charge at Villa Park, but several reports claim that he might not last the season and Moyes is among those tipped to take over.

According to The Mirror, the Scot has indicated that Villa is the only club that he would be willing to manage a level below the Premier League.

The paper goes on to say that Moyes was offered the Villa post last summer but turned it down as he was committed to Real Sociedad, where he lost his job nearly six months ago.
