Serge Gnabry to join West Bromwich Albion on loan?

A report claims that Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry will join West Bromwich Albion on loan until January, with the choice to extend that deal until the end of the season.

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly closing in on a loan move for Arsenal midfielder Serge Gnabry.

The 20-year-old, who missed the entirety of last season through injury, has not featured for the Gunners since March 2014.

Arsenal are now said to be looking to send the German youth international on loan, with West Brom thought to be the frontrunners to land his signature.

According to the Daily Mail, Gnabry will initially link up with the Baggies until January, although an option to extend that deal will be inserted into his contract.

West Brom are reported to have been in the race to land Bakary Sako on a free contract this summer, but the former Wolverhampton Wanderers forward elected to join Crystal Palace instead.
