Arsenal 'pondering sensational Suarez bid'

Arsenal are allegedly considering launching an audacious bid for Barcelona striker Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan has struggled to find form since joining the Catalan giants and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants to lure him back to the Premier League, reports The Sun.

Wenger is a long-term admirer of the controversial forward, having tabled an unsuccessful bid of £40,000,001 for the player when he was at Liverpool in the summer of 2013.

Suarez was ushered out of Anfield after biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup, the third time he had committed such an offence during his playing career.

The striker was the top scorer in the Premier League last term after finding the net 31 times, but has managed just two league goals since moving to Barcelona for £75m.
