Agent: Jeremy Toulalan will leave Malaga

Malaga midfielder Jeremy Toulalan will leave this summer, according to his agent.

The agent of Malaga midfielder Jeremy Toulalan has confirmed that his client will leave the Spanish outfit this summer.

The Frenchman, who has been strongly linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, will decide his future this week, according to Michael Manuello.

"Jeremy is in Monaco on holiday and he, who prefers to be distant from the press, has authorised me to convey his wish to leave Malaga," Manuello told AS.

"Why? For personal reasons and, above all, for the fact that the club's sporting project has taken a strong turn in the last two years. This week we will hopefully determine his future.

"He has enjoyed the affection of the fans and what was achieved athletically, but during the turbulent era the leaders promised him that so long as he endured, when he wanted to go, there would be no impediment. Now that time has come. Jeremy trusts the word of the directors and we expect a solution to be reached soon."

Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in the midfielder.
