Aaron Ramsey "gutted" for injured Theo Walcott

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is "gutted" for teammate Theo Walcott after he was ruled out for the rest of the season through injury.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has admitted that he was "gutted" when he heard the news that Theo Walcott would miss the rest of the season through injury.

Walcott sustained a ruptured ACL in his left knee during his side's 2-0 win over North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.

The injury will also keep the winger out of the World Cup in Brazil this summer, and Ramsey was quick to offer his condolences to his teammate.

"Gutted for Theo, he'll come back stronger after this. Been fantastic for us so far this season. Have a speedy recovery mate," the Welshman wrote on Twitter.

Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League table, one point clear of second-placed Manchester City with 20 games gone.
