Mark van Bommel: 'Arsenal tie not over'

Mark van Bommel believes that AC Milan still have a job to do against Arsenal in the Champions League, despite a 4-0 first-leg win.

AC Milan midfielder Mark van Bommel has said that his side's Champions League tie with Arsenal is not over yet, despite a 4-0 first-leg victory.

Kevin-Prince Boateng, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a Robinho brace earned the Serie A side a convincing win in the last 16 at the San Siro on Wednesday evening.

However, Van Bommel believes that the Gunners still pose a threat ahead of the second leg at the Emirates Stadium.

"The score made it look like it was an easy game, but it certainly was not," he said.

"I do not think it is over yet. I remember a clash between Milan and Deportivo la Coruna when Milan were also ahead by four goals, and in the end Deportivo eliminated Milan."

Milan travel to the Emirates for the return fixture on Tuesday, March 6.
