Scottish League Two roundup: Arbroath open up five-point gap at the top

Arbroath have opened up a five-point gap at the top of Scottish League Two with a 2-0 victory over mid-table Berwick.

Simon Murray and Bobby Linn scored either side of half time to extend the Red Lichties' advantage over their closest rivals Queen's Park, who were held to a goalless draw by Annan Athletic.

Albion Rovers remain one point behind Queen's Park following their 0-0 stalemate at home to Montrose, while Clyde moved up two places to seventh with a 3-1 victory over East Fife.

Elgin City against East Stirlingshire fell victim to the weather, meaning that the former prop up the rest for the time being.
