Mark Docherty's and Grant Gallagher's second-half strikes won all three points for Dumbarton away to Alloa Athletic this afternoon.

Doherty came back to haunt his former employers after he scored directly from the corner, with the wind playing a part in the goal.

Gallagher sealed the victory and all three points with a diving header at the back post, having connected with Kevin Cawley's cross.

The win puts Dumbarton seventh in the Scottish Championship, while Alloa continue to struggle in 10th.
