Agent: 'No Arsenal offer for Taye Taiwo'

The agent of AC Milan full-back Taye Taiwo has revealed that Arsenal have yet to make an offer for his client.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on adding to his defensive options following a number of injuries to players in that position.

Nigerian international Taiwo has emerged as a leading contender for Wenger, according to reports in Italy.

"At the moment there is no huge news about Nigerian players, with Arsenal there was only a rumour," representative Fabio Parisi told notiziariosportivo.com.

"I certainly don't know that Arsene Wenger is looking for a left-back but at this time there has not been any official offer at AC Milan."

Taiwo joined Milan in August 2011 from French club Marseille.
