The deadline for English deals to go through is 11pm tonight, and some major moves are still expected to take place before that with plenty of big clubs seeking reinforcements or looking to offload players, and many big names expected to be part of that.

Changing of the guard? Chelsea identify successor to 'unimpressive' Sanchez
Chelsea are reportedly running the rule over Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel as they look to potentially move on from Robert Sanchez in the New Year.
The jury is still out on current Blues number one Sanchez, who has kept new signing Filip Jorgensen at bay for the most part this season but has also come under fire for some costly errors.
The 27-year-old's footwork and ability to play out from the back in particular has come in for scathing criticism, and he has only managed three clean sheets in the 2024-25 Premier League season so far.
Sanchez has only recorded one shut-out in his last 10 top-flight appearances, but nevertheless, he is still part of a Chelsea side who are unexpectedly mounting a charge for the Premier League title in second place in the table.
"We'll see" - Olympic medallist leaves door open to Liverpool transfer
Lyon starlet Rayan Cherki - linked with a move to Liverpool in 2025 - has refused to commit his future to the French giants beyond the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
The playmaker is one of a few gems in the Gones crown tipped to leave the Groupama Stadium at the end of the season after Lyon were provisionally relegated to Ligue 2 in the middle of November.
The former dominant force of Ligue 1 football had racked up debts of over £400m, and unless they can demonstrably prove that their financial situation improves next year, they will be bumped down to the second division.

Richarlison has only managed 16 goals and nine assists in 73 appearances for Tottenham in all competitions, and a spate of injuries have denied him the chance to kick on under Ange Postecoglou.
The former Watford man has only played seven times across all competitions in the 2024-25 campaign, scoring one goal and setting up one more, and he is expected to be out until the New Year with his latest hamstring problem.

AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders is reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract with the Rossoneri, ending speculation over a possible marquee move to the Premier League.

Reijnders's existing contract at AC Milan does not expire for another four seasons anyway, but the midfielder recently confirmed that talks over an extension were heading in the right direction.
Chelsea duo to leave Stamford Bridge on loan in January?
Chelsea are reportedly willing to let midfield duo Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Carney Chukwuemeka leave Stamford Bridge on loan during the January transfer window, with the pair struggling for action this term.
Dewsbury-Hall only arrived at Stamford Bridge from Leicester City over the summer, but the 26-year-old has been restricted to just 55 minutes of Premier League football during the 2024-25 campaign.
The midfielder has played 14 times in all competitions, but the bulk of his football has come in Europe and the EFL Cup, with head coach Enzo Maresca preferring other options in the middle of midfield.
Chukwuemeka, meanwhile, has only played five times for the Blues this term, with four of those outings coming in the Conference League, and he is yet to play a minute of Premier League football in 2024-25.
Second boost! Man United 'receive more good news' in pursuit of 27-year-old
Manchester United have reportedly received a second boost in their pursuit of AC Milan's Theo Hernandez, with the France international potentially available during the January transfer window.
Hernandez's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with both Real Madrid and Man United believed to be looking to sign the left-back in 2025.
However, a recent report claimed that Real Madrid had dropped their interest in the defender, with Los Blancos having other priorities in the transfer market.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan would listen to serious January offers for Hernandez, with discussions over a new contract at San Siro said to be at a standstill.

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim allegedly wants to sign a left-back, central midfielder and centre-forward to boost his squad, with signings potentially being made during the January transfer window.
According to Mick Brown - Man United's former chief scout - Amorim has identified three areas in need of improvement, as the Portuguese looks to build a team capable of challenging for major trophies once again.
Brown has claimed that Luke Shaw's ongoing injury problems will lead to Man United signing a left-back, while central midfield and centre-forward are viewed as priority positions for the new manager at Old Trafford.
"Amorim already has an idea of what he wants to do," Brown told Football Insider. "I'm told there are three positions they'd like to improve, but it's notoriously difficult in January.
Barcelona 'keeping an eye' on Man United forward amid transfer speculation
Barcelona are reportedly 'keeping an eye' on Marcus Rashford's situation at Manchester United, with the Catalan outfit considering making a move for the unsettled forward next year.
Rashford has scored seven goals and registered three assists in 24 appearances for the Red Devils during the 2024-25 campaign, including three goals in four Premier League outings since Ruben Amorim's arrival as head coach.
The 27-year-old continues to cut a frustrated figure at Old Trafford, though, and he underwhelmed on his last appearance - being substituted in the early stages of the second period against Viktoria Plzen on Thursday night.
Rashford has a contract at Old Trafford until June 2028, but there is currently widespread speculation surrounding his future, with Man United believed to be willing to let the Englishman leave.
