Laugher: "I couldn't be happier"

England's Jack Laugher has revealed that he "could not be happier" following his gold-medal success in the men's 3m synchronised diving at the Commonwealth Games.

The 19-year-old, who also won gold in the individual 3m springboard event yesterday to add to his previous silver, recorded a score of 431.94 with teammate Chris Mears to come out on top.

"That was absolutely amazing," Laugher told BBC Sport. "It has been a rollercoaster. I couldn't happier. There was always pressure - me and Chris just wanted to nail it like we have all year."

England also won bronze at the Royal Commonwealth Pool courtesy of Nick Robinson-Baker and Freddie Woodward.
