Taylor to face Beaton at World Grand Prix

Defending champion Phil Taylor has been drawn to play Steve Beaton in the first round of the World Grand Prix in Dublin.

The world number two, who whitewashed Dave Chisnall in last year's final, will face the former Lakeside champion when the tournament gets underway on October 6.

Michael van Gerwen has been handed an all-Dutch affair against Vincent van der Voort, while Adrian Lewis will play Irishman Daryl Gurney.

Chisnall will go head to head with Raymond van Barneveld in the pick of the last-32 clashes, with Gary Anderson facing 2011 runner-up Brendan Dolan.
