Belarus cyclist wins men's time trial

Belarusian cyclist Vasil Kiryienka has won the men's time trial gold at the European Games in a time of 59:36.03.

He completed the 52km course over a minute ahead of his nearest rival, Netherlands' Stef Clement, who came through in 1:00:46.08.

Spain's Luis Leon Sanchez Gil completed the course in 1:01:08.90 to claim bronze, while Ireland's Ryan Mullen finished eighth in 1:02:17.86.

Kiryienka, 33, won the first stage of the Giro d'Italia earlier this year.
