South Africa close in on Zimbabwe

An unbeaten knock of 69 from Faf du Plessis sees South Africa move to within 55 runs of Zimbabwe at stumps on day two of their Test in Harare.

South Africa have moved to within 55 runs of Zimbabwe at stumps on day two of their Test in Harare.

With the hosts having been bowled out for 256, South Africa ended the evening session on 201-4.

The Proteas reached 146-2 at tea, but they lost two more wickets in the form of Hashim Amla (four) and AB de Villiers (seven) by the close of play.

However, an impressive knock of 69 not out from Faf du Plessis and Quinton de Kock's unbeaten 27 have given South Africa some momentum heading into day three.
