AB de Villiers ton gives South Africa edge against West Indies

AB de Villiers struck a century to set up a first-innings lead of 92 runs for South Africa in the third Test against the West Indies.

The Proteas headed into the final session of the day in Cape Town on 421 all out after De Villiers was eventually sent packing by the bowling of Marlon Samuels, although the Newlands Test still remains in the balance.

West Indies made a bad start to their second innings, as Morne Morkel angled one into Devon Smith's body, while spinner Simon Harmer accounted for Kraigg Brathwaite with a fine delivery to take the off stump.

It ensured that the visitors were left on 27-2, a full 65 runs behind their opponents, although Samuel and Leon Johnson steadied the ship somewhat by seeing out the session as the Windies finished on 88-2.
