Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard out of ODI series

Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard will sit out of the West Indies' one-day series with New Zealand through injury.

Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard have been left out of the West Indies' one-day international squad for the upcoming series with New Zealand.

The five-match series starts in Auckland on December 26.

Gayle and Pollard are both missing from the Test squad for the ongoing series, which is tied at 0-0 after a draw in Dunedin.

The second Test in Wellington is in its second day, while the finale gets underway in Hamilton on December 19.
