Sri Lanka edge towards 400 against South Africa

Sri Lanka take their score to 395-6 against South Africa at lunch on the second day of the second Test match at Colombo.

A half-century from Niroshan Dickwella has helped take Sri Lanka's score to 395-6 against South Africa at lunch on day two of the second Test match in Colombo.

After they resumed on 305-5, Dickwella and Mahela Jayawardene proceeded to move their team's total along at a decent rate, with Jayawardene moving past 150.

Dickwella was also finding the boundary with relative ease, but after the partnership had reached three figures, Jayawardene lost his wicket for 165 after he was run out by Alviro Petersen.

That brought Dilruwan Perera to the crease but he and Dickwella, who had reached 63, managed to get to the interval without the loss of further wickets.
