Kemar Roach strikes twice for West Indies

South Africa have lost three wickets on the opening morning of the first Test match against West Indies at Centurion.

Despite losing the toss, Alviro Petersen and Dean Elgar put on 57 runs for the first wicket before Kemar Roach had Petersen caught out for 27.

In the following over, Sheldon Cottrell struck to remove Elgar before Roach returned to take the wicket of Faf du Plessis for an eight-ball duck.

South Africa were on the ropes, but Hashim Amla (25) and AB de Villiers (16) have put on an unbeaten stand of 45 to take the hosts to 102-3 after the first two hours of play.
