David Willey hat-trick wins Friends Life T20 for Northamptonshire

Northamptonshire have defeated Surrey by 102 runs under the Duckworth Lewis Method to be crowned Friends Life T20 champions.

David Willey, who recorded overall figures of 4-9 in 15 deliveries, sealed the win by ending Surrey's chase with a hat-trick.

Wiley removed Zafar Ansari, Chris Tremlett and Jade Dernbach, thanks to catches from Steven Crook, James Middlebrook and David Murphy, to leave Surrey all out for 92.

Northants had earlier posted a score of 194-2 from 18 overs, Willey topscoring with an explosive 60 from just 27 balls.
