Shane Watson shines in win for Rajasthan Royals

Shane Watson struck an unbeaten 98 to lead the Rajasthan Royals to an eight-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bat first but they were reduced to 19-5, with their top order failing to contribute.

Darren Sammy made 60 from 41 balls to help the Sunrisers to 144-9 from their 20 overs but James Faulkner's 5-20 put the Royals in charge.

Dale Steyn removed Ajinkya Rahane early on but Rahul Dravid steadied the ship alongside the impressive Watson.

However, the total always looked too small to defend as Watson punished the bowlers by hitting four sixes and 13 fours to help the Royals cruise to victory.
