Jimmy Neesham claims Younis Khan scalp to halt Pakistan progress

Neesham claims Younis scalp

Pakistan trail New Zealand by 221 runs at tea of the third day of the second Test in Dubai after losing form man Younis Khan in the afternoon session.

Khan, who had scored 807 runs, including four centuries and a double hundred, in his last 10 Tests, fell for 72 as Pakistan reached 182-3 by the interval.

The 36-year-old became just a fifth Test wicket for part-time medium pacer Jimmy Neesham, whose 137 has put the Kiwis in such a strong first-innings position.

Azhar Ali made steady progress throughout the session and remains unbeaten on 59, while captain Misbah-ul-Haq hit a six and two fours on his way to 25 not out.
