Disgraced former Pakistan captain Salman Butt has called for a new trial into his spot-fixing controversy.
The 27-year-old, who was freed from prison last week after serving seven months of a 30-month sentence, was jailed in November along with teammates Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir.
The trio had been found guilty of deliberately bowling no-balls in a Test match against England at Lord's in August of 2010.
However, Butt has now called for the case to be heard in the Supreme Court of Pakistan in a bid to clear his name of any wrongdoing.
"I don't think I got justice in the trial that sentenced me to a jail term," said Butt. "I want a trial in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, because there was no evidence confirming I did spot fixing."
Asif and Amir have already been released.
