Tony Grieg diagnosed with lung cancer

Former England cricketer Tony Greig has revealed that he has been diagnosed with lung cancer.

Greig played 58 times for England and now works as a commentator for Australian television.

He has revealed that doctors found a small lesion on his right lung during tests in Dubai.

Greig told The Telegraph: "I have had a few scrapes in my life and this is another one.

"Vivian (his wife) and I are going to put the boxing gloves on and fight this like we've never fought anything before."

The 66-year-old will undergo a biopsy in the next few days to determine the extent of the illness.
