Melbourne Stars sign Ben Hilfenhaus

Australian bowler Ben Hilfenhaus agrees a three-year contract with Big Bash League outfit the Melbourne Stars.

The Melbourne Stars have secured the services of Ben Hilfenhaus.

The Australian bowler, who has spent the last three Big Bash League campaigns playing for the Hobart Hurricanes, has signed a three-year contract at the MCG.

"I've played against all the guys before, so it will be good to finally have them on my side," the 31-year-old told the franchise's official website.

"The bowling lineup is pretty strong and they seem to have all bases covered so I'm looking forward to working with them and carving out a role depending on what the coach and captain want from me."

Hilfenhaus will also represent the Chennai Super Kings at this year's IPL.
