Kent capture the signing of all-rounder Ben Harmison

Kent have completed the signing of all-rounder Ben Harmison following his release from Durham.

Harmison, the younger brother of former England bowler Steve Harmison, will become a Kent player for the 2012 season.

The 25-year-old said: "I cannot wait to start training with the squad, and I look forward to an exciting 2012 season.

"This is a great opportunity and I look forward to continuing my career with a county hungry for success."

Harmison, who averages 34.66 with the ball and 26.10 with the bat, will be hoping for promotion to Division One with his new side next year.
