India dominating New Zealand at lunch

New Zealand head into lunch struggling on 54 for three against India.

New Zealand are struggling against a dominant India on day one of their first Test in Auckland's Eden Park, going into lunch on 54-3.

Indian skipper MS Dhoni opted to bowl after winning the coin toss, paving the way for Ishant Sharma to beat Hamish Rutherford early on and claim his 150th Test wicket.

Zaheer Khan secured India's second wicket shortly after when he trapped Peter Fulton leg-before for just six runs.

Ross Taylor was the next New Zealander to perish before the teams took lunch, Ravindra Jadeja making the catch after he drove a length delivery through mid-off.
