Singh vows to play cricket again

Yuvraj Singh has vowed to represent India again upon his return to his homeland.

The 30-year-old has spent the last three months in the United States of America receiving treatment for a rare form of cancer called mediastinal seminoma.

Medical experts expect the spin-bowler to make a full recovery and believe that he will be able to resume his cricket career.

"I want to see the Team India logo on my cap again," he told reporters. "It will be a big achievement if I can play for India again. But it won't be easy and will take time. I can't say when I will return to the field.

"At this stage, it is more important for me to focus on my priority, and that is to get fit and stay healthy. But I am positive that I will play cricket again."

Singh has made 37 Test appearances for India.
