Joe Root, Ian Bell give England hope for draw

England hold firm in the final session of day four in an attempt to draw the second Test against Pakistan.

England require 361 runs with seven wickets remaining going into the final day of the second Test against Pakistan.

A draw is now England's best chance of avoiding defeat and Joe Root's 59 not out was the highlight of the final session.

Ian Bell was caught by Younis Khan on 46 before Jonny Bairstow came in to face 33 balls and score six runs to continue England's resistance.

With both batsmen playing conservatively, Pakistan bowlers Yasir Shah and Zulfiqar Babar will be looking to take the wicket of Root early on day five.
