Ian Bell stars with the bat again but he cannot prevent England losing against Delhi by six wickets.

Alastair Cook's England slumped to a six-wicket defeat during their last one-day international warm-up fixture before Friday's series gets underway against India.

Cook won the toss against Delhi this afternoon and opted for his side to open the batting.

The captain went on to make 44 runs, while his fellow opener Ian Bell claimed his second century in succession before he was trapped lbw by Varun Sood for 108.

A knock of 52 from Eoin Morgan and an unbeaten 41 from Craig Kieswetter then helped the tourists reach 294-5 from their allotted 50 overs.

In reply, Delhi opener Shikhar Dhawan put his side in command by contributing 110 runs to their cause before he was eventually bowled lbw by part-time bowler Joe Root.

Despite, Dhawan's dismissal, Dehil continued to keep the score ticking over and Milind Kumar (78*) was at the crease when they reached 295/4 with nine balls remaining.

Spinner James Tredwell was England's most productive bowler, ending the innings with figures of 2-49.
