England beat India to level series

England have beaten India by 10 wickets in the second Test in Mumbai to level the four-match series at 1-1.

The tourists began day four just 31 runs behind, with India on 117-7.

India only managed to add 25 more runs to their second-innings total, as Graeme Swann dismissed Harbhajan Singh and Gautam Gambhir for six and 65 respectively.

Monty Panesar finished with a career-best match haul of 11 for 210, after accounting for the wicket of Zaheer Khan, who contributed just one run from 11 balls.

It then took England 58 balls to chase down 57 and claim a deserved victory.

Nick Compton hit five boundaries on his way to making 30, while Alastair Cook made a steady 18 off 30 balls.
