Chris Woakes added to England squad for third ODI against Australia

England have enlisted the services of Chris Woakes for their third one-day international against Australia on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old all-rounder will replace Jade Dernbach in the squad after the Surrey bowler and Stuart Meaker were granted permission to attend the funeral of their teammate Tom Maynard.

The batsman was tragically killed by a London Underground train a fortnight ago.

England currently lead the five-day ODI series against their arch enemies Australia 2-0 with the two teams due to reunite for the third contest at Edgbaston this week.
