Tredwell to captain England in final T20

England spinner James Tredwell will captain his side in the second and final Twenty20 match against New Zealand after Eoin Morgan was ruled out through injury.

Batsman Morgan captained the team for Wednesday night's narrow defeat due to Stuart Broad being injured, and now he will in turn be replaced by Tredwell.

Morgan has injured his right hand but is not expected to be ruled out for long, which means that the Tredwell captaincy is likely to be a temporary solution.

England must win Thursday night's clash to level the series.
