Report: Jason Gillespie to accept England job

Report: Gillespie keen on England job

Yorkshire coach Jason Gillespie will reportedly accept the role of England head coach if he is offered it.

The Australian held talks with director of cricket Andrew Strauss earlier this week, as the ECB looks to replace Peter Moores.

The 40-year-old was initially cautious about taking the job, but BBC Sport reports that he is now keen to accept it after positive discussions with Strauss.

Gillespie has been in charge of Yorkshire for three seasons and led them to the 2014 County Championship.
