Nasser Hussain praises England bowlers

Nasser Hussain has hailed the displays that the England bowlers produced on day two of the first Test against South Africa in Durban earlier today.

Having been bowled out for 303 runs, England restricted the home side to 137-4 at the close of play, thanks predominantly to the influence of three-wicket Stuart Broad.

"England's bowling in those first 19 overs before tea, without [James] Anderson, was magnificent," ex-England captain Hussain told Sky Sports News.

"Broad, in particular, set the tone beautifully. Outstanding bowling throughout that session, backed up by [Chris] Woakes, and then [Steven] Finn. If anything this pitch is getting dryer and dryer, and the seam is starting to grip into the surface."

As well as his three wickets, 29-year-old Broad also contributed an unbeaten 32 runs with the bat.
