Chris Jordan, Liam Plunkett out of England squad

Pace bowlers Chris Jordan and Liam Plunkett have been ruled out of England's remaining one-day matches against New Zealand through injury.

Chris Jordan and Liam Plunkett have both been ruled out of England's squad for the remainder of the New Zealand one-day series.

The pace bowlers picked up injuries during Friday's defeat to the Black Caps, and will miss the final three games of the series, currently tied at 1-1.

Both Jordan, who has a side side strain, and Plunkett, out with a thigh problem, will undergo rehabilitation in their bid to return to full fitness.

Somerset all-rounder Craig Overton has been called up to the squad for England's third match at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

A decision as to who will replace Plunkett is expected to be made later today.
