England in group with holders Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa at World T20

England will face holders Sri Lanka, West Indies and South Africa in the group stage of next year's World Twenty20 in India.

England have been drawn alongside holders Sri Lanka, fellow former winners West Indies, and South Africa in the group stage of next year's World Twenty20 in India.

The quartet will be joined in Super 10 Group One by the winners of Group B - Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Scotland or Zimbabwe.

The other Super 10 group sees hosts India joined by Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand, with either Bangladesh, Holland, Ireland or Oman joining them as winners of Group A.

The competition will take place at eight venues from March 8 to April 3, with Mumbai and New Delhi staging the semi-finals and Kolkata the final.

England, who won the 2010 tournament in the Caribbean, take on 2012 winners West Indies in Mumbai on March 16, followed by matches against South Africa (March 18), the Group B winners (March 23) and defending champions Sri Lanka (March 26).
